Opening Day Update-Trails Closed.
December 16 was supposed to have been the opening day for the VAST trail system. Unfortunately, due to unfavorable weather conditions we do not have any snow and the entire statewide system is closed. Long range weather models are calling for a change around December 23rd so keep your fingers crossed that we will be able to ride later in the month.

Thanks to all the hard working MRRR trail folks for all you do and have done to get ready for this season! Thanks to Tony for the great blog updates and photos! The new bridge looks great! Happy Holidays to all the MRRR! (Sorry we missed the annual holiday party--had to work.) Maybe Santa, Jack Frost, Mother Nature, and Ullr will all cooperate to freeze the ground and quickly bring us lots of snow and a very long, cold, real winter! --Gail
